About | Little Pals Nursery

What do we do?

At Little Pals Nursery, we believe childhood should be filled with discovery, imagination and meaningful experiences. For more than 30 years, we’ve been proudly supporting families across West Clacton, offering high‑quality early education and childcare for children aged 6 weeks to 11 years.

We operate across two exceptional settings:

  • Little Pals Jaywick Lane – our purpose‑built nursery designed to inspire learning through rich indoor and outdoor play.
  • Little Pals Forest Nursery, St John’s Road – our dedicated nature‑based provision where children explore, investigate and learn through the natural world.

Together, these environments give children the freedom to grow, thrive and develop confidence in ways that feel authentic, joyful and deeply connected to their interests.

About | Little Pals Nursery

A Nursery at the Heart of Its Community

As a registered charity, Little Pals is deeply committed not only to children’s development but also to the wellbeing of the families we serve.

We understand that early years support goes beyond education, which is why we offer a range of community‑based initiatives, including:

  • A Community Fridge providing free access to surplus food for families
  • Food parcels and emergency support for those experiencing financial difficulty
  • Links with local services and agencies to ensure families can access wider help when needed
  • Practical, non‑judgemental support for parents navigating challenges at home or work
  • Free baby massage and baby yoga courses

These initiatives reflect our belief that strong families build strong foundations for children.

Working Together With Families

Families are central to everything we do. We work in close partnership with parents and carers, valuing their insights and ensuring they feel supported throughout their child’s journey. Our team communicates openly, listens carefully and collaborates with families to meet each child’s needs with care, respect and consistency.
